Anderson Cooper Will Not Receive an Inheritance From Mom Gloria Vanderbilt

Anderson Cooper Will Not Receive an Inheritance From Mom Gloria Vanderbilt

No Inheritance for Anderson! CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, who comes From the Vanderbilts, one of the wealthiest families in American history, said Monday, March 31, that he Will not be receiving any fortune From his mother Gloria Vanderbilt.

"My mom’s made clear to me that there’s no trust fund," Cooper told Howard Stern on his radio show. "There’s none of that."

Cooper’s mom is the great-great-granddaughter of railroad and shipping mogul Cornelius Vanderbilt. Still stunning at 90 years old, the Manhattan socialite and former denim designer is reportedly worth a whopping $200 million.

Gloria’s equally-successful son, however, told Stern he was okay with not receiving an Inheritance at all. "I don’t believe in inheriting money," he said. "I think it’s an initiative sucker. I think it’s a curse."

Cooper explained, "Who has inherited a lot of money that has gone on to do things in their own life? From the time I was growing up, if I felt that there was some pot of gold waiting for me, I don’t know that I would’ve been so motivated."

Today, the reputable journalist, 46, has become a household **** on his own. The CNN personality, nick****d the "Silver Fox" by fans, reportedly rakes in $11 million a year through his contact with the network.

"I’m doing fine on my own, I don’t need any [money]," he told Stern.

While Cooper had a privileged upbringing in Manhattan, the Yale grad has mentioned he was unfazed by his wealthy background — in part, due to his father, Wyatt Emory Cooper. "I’ve never paid attention to it, honestly," Cooper said of the Vanderbilt family’s wealth.

"My dad grew up really poor in Mississippi… I paid attention to that because I thought that’s a healthier thing to pay attention to than like some statue of a great-great-great-grandfather who has no connection to my life."

As a child, Anderson Cooper put his handsome looks to good use as a model starting at the age of 10.

However, while chatting with Howard Stern on the radio personality’s program on Monday, the 46-year-old CNN anchor explained why he decided to leave the modeling world at 13.

"I got propositioned by a photographer…a male," Cooper said. "He somehow got my number and called me up and offered me money, and so it freaked me out. I never told any****. I just stopped. I was, like, ‘Forget it.’"

When asked exactly how much money he was offered, Cooper brought a little levity to the conversation by saying, "$2,500, which I thought was a little low."

Cameron Diaz: ‘Every**** has been cheated on, everyone will be cheated on’

Cameron Diaz thinks "everyone" has been cheated on.

The actress stars alongside Kate Upton in The Other Woman, about a woman who teams up with her lover’s wife to seek revenge after finding out he’s married.
She’s dated high-profile stars such asJustin Timberlake and Jared Leto in the past, but the 41-year-old is currently single.
Cameron believes that everyone has had to endure some form of infidelity in their lives and insists she didn’t shoot the film to "make a statement".

"My statement is that I am actually not interested in making movies about men cheating on women; it’s not at all what I am interested in," she explained to the British edition of OK! magazine.

"Every**** has been cheated on, everyone will be cheated on. I can’t fix that, I don’t know how, I don’t have any judgement on any****, I don’t know how to fix the problem.
"We are human beings, we are complicated – you cannot go through life without tallying up a few scars, you cannot go through life unscathed, it’s just what it is. It’s all meant to happen, take your lessons, figure it out, move on."

The Other Woman isn’t just about cheating; it’s also about women sticking together when they’ve been betrayed.

Cameron is pleased she has a good group of female friends to turn to during tough times.
"I exist for all my girlfriends. I am very, very, very fortunate; my friends are incredible and I am very lucky to have a lot of really solid, good friends – girlfriends and male friends – who I can just rely on," she smiled.
"We are tribal, we need our tribe – I have a bunch of little tribes all over the world that I pop to for a little bit of time, and then I move on and that’s the great thing about being mobile; a lot of my friends have kids and they are stuck, planted in one place, and I kind of get to pop into all the different little tribes around the world and hang out for a little bit."

1. Your sense of humor could be described as an “acquired taste.”

2. Sarcasm slips out of your mouth so often that you often forget you’re doing it.

Mariah Carey throws Shade at American Idol Again, Calls Show "Fake" and "the Worst Experience"

خليجيةy Images

There is certainly no love lost between Mariah Carey and American Idol.
The 45-year-old pop diva, who recently began her first concert residency in Las Vegas, said in a new interview that the reality show and singing competition series is "boring" and "fake" and that her time co-judging one season was the "worst experience" of her life.

Carey was a judge on American Idol in 2024, during season 12, and has bashed the show before. She joined fellow newbie Nicki Minaj in what marked one of several casting shakeups for the series, once the top-rated show on primetime for years. Its ratings peaked in 2024 and declined ever since, falling more than 60 percent for the recent 14th season. FOX announced earlier this month that season 15 will be the last.

"I mean, it’s so boring and so fake," Carey said in an interview with the Kyle & Jackie O show on Australian radio station KIIS-FM 1065 on Thursday. "I’m sorry, I just think it’s, you know, when I say it’s fake, I mean, it’s just like, you have to make up things to say about people. Half the time, the performances are good, you just be like ‘It was good.’ You just feel like ending it there, like, ‘It’s really good.’"

FOX and American Idol producers have not commented on her remarks.

خليجية

When asked if she would return to American Idol for a finale reunion, if one takes place, she said, "Hell, no! Absolutely not, that was the worst experience of my life."

During her time on American Idol, Carey and Minaj were occasionally shown getting into several heated debates during the American Idol auditions and the live shows and sparked rumors of a feud. Their departure from the show was announced on the same day.

"I’m not gonna get into what it was, but let’s just say I don’t think they had any intentions for us to have a good experience doing that show…pinning two females against each other wasn’t cool," Carey said on Kyle & Jackie O. "It should’ve been about the contestants instead of being about some non-existent feud that turned into like more ridiculousness and I would never want to be involved with it again. But every**** else can like it!"

خليجية

Randy Jackson, one of three original co-judges and the singer’s former bass player, also announced in 2024 that he would leave American Idol but ended upstaying for one more season. That year, Carey said on hip-hop radio station HOT 97’s Angie Martinez Show that she hated her experience on the series.

"They gave me a nice dangling monetary moment, and I was just like, ‘Okay. Randy Jackson Will be there; I’ve known him forever. He used to play bass for me. Like, this isn’t a big deal. This Will be nothing,’" she said. "But it wasn’t that. It was like going to work every day in hell with Satan."

She later said, "Naw, I’m just playing. It didn’t affect me that much."

Carey is currently busy with her multi-million dollar #1 to Infinity concert series at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, where she performs 18 of her past No. 1 hit songs, such as "Vision of Love," "Fantasy" and "Hero."

She recently hung out in the city with fellow pop star and Grease actress Olivia Newton-John, 66, who has her own concert residency at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino titled Summer Nights.

Finally: The talk of a biopic, centered on Freddie Mercury, has been heard for the last seven years and will now finally be made, according to the band’s manager Jim Beach

Queen’s surviving members Brian May and Roger Taylor had not always been supportive of Sacha’s involvement in the project, and those ‘creative differences’ were allegedly the reason the actor dropped out in 2024.
‘In the end, we felt that his presence in the movie would be very distracting. What led us to that conclusion was the last three movies that he’s made – The Dictator, Les Miserables and Hugo,’ Brian said at the time.
‘He makes outstanding performances but they’re very much Sacha Baron Cohen performances.

However, it seems now that Brian, Roger and Sacha have managed to overcome their issues to get the ball finally rolling on the biopic.
