Until now, it was unthinkable that the people of Myanmar could turn out in the thousands to support opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi. The ruling military junta has loosened its grip and after 15 years under house arrest she is leading her party into parliamentary elections. Channel Four Europe’s John Sparks travelled with Aung San Suu Kyi as she campaigned in the southern city of Maw-la-me-yei. (Nightly News)
