Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael marries Kate Major in intimate beach ceremony… but ‘doesn’t invite his famous daughter
Lindsay Lohan’s father Michael has married his longtime girlfriend Kate Major – but reportedly didn’t invite the Hollywood actress to his nuptials.
The businessman exchanged vows with his former tabloid reporter fiancée in a small ceremony Hillsboro Beach in Florida at the end of October.
However, the father-of-six failed to make his older five children aware of his big day, according to TMZ.
The gossip website claims that when Lindsay – the eldest of his brood – found out about her dad getting hitched, she didn’t care.
MailOnline has reached out to the Mean Girls representative for comment.
The site has now published snaps of the newlyweds, with blonde Kate – who is pregnant with Michael’s seventh child – wearing a long white gown and veil, while her husband sports an all-white suit while holding their son, Landon.
The couple have a famously volatile relationship – they previously got engaged in 2024, but later split.
After getting back together, they welcomed Landon in January 2024, but their romance was dealt another blow in May when Kate was sentenced to eight months in prison after pleading guilty to a drunken driving charge that violated her probation.
Despite suffering pregnancy troubles while behind bars, Kate was refused early release and served her entire eight month stint before being released in September.
Michael’s six children include four from his 22-year marriage to Lindsay’s mother, Dina.
He also has a daughter Ashley Horn from a relationship with a massage therapist during his marriage to Dina.
Neither party have mentioned the wedding on social media, but Kate has since changed her Twitter handle to ‘Kate Major-Lohan’.
On her 32nd birthday last week, she also wrote: ‘Already such a nice birthday celebration with my hubby & Landon & Baby #2 was all kicks after my homemade egg & cheese!!’
Meanwhile, Lindsay and her dad’s relationship has been equally as tumultuous. Viewers of the docuseries Lindsay on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network, saw the actress berate her father for being absent from her sibling’s lives – and insist that she wanted nothing to do with his children from other relationships.
She said: ‘My dad has this whole other life with all these other people that he’s created… and I do not want to be a part of that.’
‘They are not part of my life and they never will be.’
