Thanks for upvotes!A few years ago I had a BBQ on my back porch and [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] left a sausage out there. Three of these guys came over and triggered the light and I just watched them eat the sausage.

I was like two feet away since my desk is right next to the back door.

Anyway. The next night the same thing happens so they just sit there like this looking at me.

After about 15 minutes I give up and go get some food and throw it to them.

This keeps happening for a couple weeks. I didn really want to encourage them because it bad form for animals to depend on humans. If I were to move they would have a significant gap in food and might have trouble feeding themselves if they rely 100% on me.

Repair [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] Guitar Neck

This instructable is about repairing the neck of a guitar. Repairing a broken musical instrument looks like a difficult task, but it can be easy enough. In this case, the neck and finger board broke off cleanly, and the following steps are how I repaired the damage.

Before you begin, make sure the guitar isn worth [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] more than a few hundred bucks. If it is an expensive instrument, have it repaired properly by a professional. If your kid dropped the guitar, that easy to know what the problem and there nothing you can do about it. On the other hand, the [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] broken neck may be a symptom of another problem.

In the case of my guitar, I found that the previous owner had strung it up with the wrong kind of strings. As you can see from the images below, the guitar was meant for nylon strings. There are structural differences between the two kinds of guitars. The differences are so great that you can feel it simply by lifting the guitar the steel string guitar weighs 2 3 times more than a classical guitar. All of that mass is due to the bracing and other measures taken to strengthen a steel string guitar so that it can resist the pull of the taut strings. When my classical was strung up with steel strings, the neck broke off cleanly. Clearly, fixing the [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] guitar won solve the problem unless I use nylon strings in the future.

Great instructable! I did the headstock one and was intrigued by what happened to yours I used white glue for my fix and would probably do just as you did on this guitar (white glue). But [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] one commenter mentioned hide glue could you tell if [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] the original glue was hide glue or white glue? The reason I mention this is because the break on yours was extremely clean. indicating to me that the glue failed before the wood broke Which, in this case, is a very good thing!

BTW I liked your clamping set up also.

Nice fix, though I’d like to clean mine up a bit (crackled varnish), but it’s a bit too old to risk. Can’t tell from your pictures what company made your guitar?

examines 2024 Moscow in surreal manner

Less than three years after she [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] finished her graduate studies at the , is back in New Haven to see her play "The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls" produced by the .

"It’s completely surreal. I never expected to see my work here, especially this soon," Miroshnik said in an interview before a rehearsal last week.

"It was an amazing surprise to get the call from (artistic director) . They do take a lot of chances."

"The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls" is set in Moscow in 2024 and combines realistic elements with genuine Russian fairy tales to take audiences inside the radical changes since the former Soviet Union disappeared in favor of capitalism three decades ago.

The play is running through Saturday, [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] Feb. 22, at Yale Rep.

Miroshnik credits her time at the for her first drafts of the play, which received its world premiere at the last year. "I wanted to find a way to process that experience as a play."

Reading the ******, it is hard to imagine how so many fairy tale fantasy elements including a sinister basket of potatoes and a possible witch or two can be brought to life on the New Haven stage by director and her company of actors [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] and designers.

Miroshnik laughed when I asked her if she thought about the staging practicality of her play as she wrote it.

"I just kind of let all of that go," she said of worrying about how her vision could be realized. "I focused on the joy [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] of producing it.

"But then I realized it had so many (difficult) moments. The bear. The fighting potatoes. I had no idea how to execute all of that on the stage."

In this interview before the first public performance, Miroshnik said she expected to be surprised by some of the stagecraft when "Russian Girls" came [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] to life at the Rep. It has given her time and space to refine the ****** and has allowed Chavkin to bring new staging ideas to the play.

"The first time you produce a play, it can feel like you’re rushing around putting out fires," Miroshnik said, chuckling, of the first transition from page to stage. "It was so great to get that production, but you reach a point where you just run out of time."

The Yale Rep production is "radically different" in one major way. Chavkin has introduced musical backing in the form of a live rock band.

"We have an all female punk band on the stage, which Rachel says is a combination of Pussy Riot and the . . It will be a completely different experience," she said. "They bring something new and exciting to it."

Things have been changing so rapidly in Russia that Miroshnik set her play quite specifically in 2024 because the same stories might play out very differently now.

"Some of the play is about the ways that the country felt foreign though familiar to me," Miroshnik said of the huge impact of American and Hollywood pop culture and fashion on a country that had disdained those influences just a few decades ago.

We meet characters in the play who hate the power of money and fashion in the new Russia and who long for [عزيزي الزائر يتوجب عليك التسجيل لمشاهدة الرابط للتسجيل اضغط هنا] the days of government imposed standards and government sanctioned products. The nostalgia for a vanished communist era sometimes recalls the hit 2024 German comedy, "Good Bye Lenin!," about those in the former East Berlin missing the "good old days" of a divided city.

"The women were wearing flats and Ugg boots it had all changed very quickly," she said.

Miroshnik will be heading back to Atlanta a few days after "Russian Girls" opens in New Haven to oversee the production of another play, "The Tall Girls."
