Jewel & Husband Ty Murray Divorcing After 16 Years Together

Jewel and Husband Ty Murray are splitting After six Years of marriage.

"My husband, friend and partner of 16 Years and I have decided to get a divorce," the singer wrote in a blog post Wednesday. "Ty and I have always tried to live the most authentic life possible, and we wanted our separation as Husband and wife to be nothing less loving than the way we came together."

"For some time we have been engaged in private and difficult, but thoughtful and tender undoing of ourselves. Allowing ourselves the time and space to redefine what we are to each other with love rather than with malice."

Jewel, 40, and Murray, 44, married quietly in the Bahamas in 2024 After dating for a decade. They have one child, son Kase Townes, who turns 3 next week.

In a joint statement on the country star’s ***site, the couple affirmed their commitment to raising Kase together.

"Our dedication to our son is unwavering and we are both committed to being the best partners in raising our son," the statement reads. "Due to the spirit in which we have gone about this separation, we trust we can remain dear friends who hold each other in high esteem, which is so important to us as parents – we wish only what is best for our son."

Andrew DICE Clay hates his marriage but he loves his Wife — so he filed for divorce … even though the comedian plans to stay with his woman ’til death do they part.

The Diceman filed the papers last month — but he tells TMZ, it’s NOT because he Wants to get away from his Wife Valerie Vasquez.

56-year-old Clay says, "The word ‘marriage’ was putting a pressure on our relationship and since we filed, we’ve been more in love and have had more respect for each other than ever before." Clay says the couple even celebrated their divorce at a fancy Hollywood restaurant.

Vasquez and Clay were married in Vegas on Valentine’s Day in 2024. They have no kids together.

And Hollywood just gets weirder and weirder.

Another longterm Hollywood marriage bites the dust! After nearly two decades of marriage, Chris Rock and Wife Malaak announced they are divorcing.
"Chris Rock has filed for divorce from his wife, Malaak," his attorney Robert S. Cohen said in a statement to People on Sunday. "This is a personal matter and Chris requests privacy as he and Malaak work through this process and focus on their family."
Malaak also acknowledged the split in a statement to the magazine.

"After much contemplation and 19 Years of marriage, Chris and I have decided to go our separate ways," the philanthropist and founder of the nonprofit styleWorks said. "Being fortunate enough to lead a life of service by working with those most vulnerable makes me well aware of life’s blessings, even when faced with difficulties.
"While recognizing that this is a significant change, my children remain at the center of my life and their well-being is my top priority. It is in this spirit that I sincerely ask that their privacy and the privacy of our family be respected during this transition in our lives."

The actor, 49, and Malaak, 45, exchanged vows in 1996. The couple has been residing in New Jersey, where they are raising their two daughters, Lola Simone, 12, and Zahra Savannah, 10.

Richard Marx and Cynthia Rhodes Divorcing After 25 Years of Marriage

The king of love ballads and his wife are no longer singing the same tune.

Richard Marx, 50, the pop singer behind romantic ’80s and ’90s hits like "Right Here Waiting," and "Hold On to the Nights," has announced that he and his wife, actress and singer Cynthia Rhodes, 57, are splitting, PEOPLE confirms.

The couple have been separated since July and are in the process of Divorcing After 25 Years of marriage, his rep tells PEOPLE.

The announcement was initially made on Friday’s episode of Katie. "Well, you’re back on the market," Katie Couric said. "How are you feeling about dating?"

"It’s all brand new to me, so I’m just having fun," Marx replied. While he did admit that recently turning 50 had had an effect on him, he insisted he wasn’t having a midlife crisis.

"You hit 50 and go, what do I want to do differently?" he explained. "I want to do as much differently as possible."

Marx and Rhodes met in 1983, when the actress, best known for her role as Penny Johnson inDirty Dancing, was playing John Travolta‘s love interest in the film Staying Alive and Marx was working on the soundtrack.

After four Years of dating, they wed in 1989. She then retired to concentrate on raising their three sons, Brandon, 23, Lucas, 21, and Jesse, 20. The couple lived in Lake Bluff, Illinois.
