Now this is the way to celebrate a birthday!

Vanessa Williams announced on a taping of The Queen Latifah Show that she’s set to wed Jim Skrip of Buffalo, New York.

"Vanessa, I have been trying to have a conversation with you ladies and gents, but I am blinded by the light coming from that bling ring on your finger," Latifah says, joking with the actress.

"Oh sorry darling, Williams said, "I got engaged. I have had a lot of good things happen … I turned 50 when we were in rehearsal on Broadway, I just got Engaged a couple of weeks ago. It has been a lot of blessings."

The twice-divorced mother of four is currently starring in a touring revival of The Trip to Bountiful, which opens Friday in Los Angeles. She costars opposite Cicely Tyson and Blair Underwood, who also appeared with Williams on Queen Latifah.

Other than the close-up of her ring, the best part of the clip below is the resigned look on Underwood’s face when Latifah brings up the engagement. Time for girl talk, mister!

Jessa Duggar Is Engaged to Ben Seewald

There’s some new hand-holding going on in Springdale, Arkansas.

Jessa Duggar of TLC’s hit reality show 19 Kids & Counting agreed to marry Ben Seewald on Thursday night. The couple began courting last year, deciding together to save holding hands until their engagement and their first kiss until their wedding day.

Duggar, 21, is third daughter of Jim Bob, 48, and Michelle, 47. Their show starts its new season Sept. 2 (9 p.m. ET).

"We do have a lot in common," she told PEOPLE during her courtship with Seewald, 19. "He is a mellow personality, very romantic and very sweet. I am very cut and dried. And my sisters are coaching me on sweet romantic things to say."

Duggar’s older sister, Jill Duggar, 23, married Derick Dillard, 25, on June 21 at a ceremony attended by more than 1,000 family and friends. The couple’srehearsal dinner included more than 100 family members and volunteers, whohelped make and serve food at their reception.

"People always ask us when we are getting married," Seewald told PEOPLE at the wedding of his soon-to-be sister- and brother-in-law. "We don’t feel pressure to get married. If there’s any pressure, it’s a good kind of pressure."

Now that they’re planning a wedding of their own, how will the newest member of the Duggar family handle the spotlight of reality television?

"The Duggar family gets asked a lot of questions," he told PEOPLE. "A lot of times we take it as a lesson, and we ask other people who are older and wiser than us to share wisdom with us about relationships. It’s an important thing."

Like Duggar’s parents, she and her new fiancé say they want to have a big family, and leave the number of children they have "up to God." Seewald is the oldest of seven children.

We are talking about our goals and even just like future, with family, we both talked about adoptions," Duggar told PEOPLE. "We are open to having children and both want to adopt, too."

Cheryl Hines and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are planning to tie the knot!

"Yes, they are engaged," a source close to the situation tells PEOPLE of the couple, who began dating in 2024.

This will be the second marriage for Hines, 48, and the third for Kennedy, 60, whose second wife, Mary, committed suicide in the family’s Bedford, New York, home in May 2024.

The Suburgatory star sang the praises of her environmentalist beau at an event in L.A. in March.

"I really like this guy," she said at the UCLA event that honored the attorney, calling the father of six "a devoted dad and an all-around good guy."

Jennifer Esposito made an expected announcement during her guest appearance on Katie Couric’s daytime talk show.

The actress revealed that She’s Engaged to her longtime beau, Louis Dowler, and showed off her Gorgeous diamond ring to viewers.

Esposito stopped by the show initially to discuss her personal journey with Celiac disease, her book Jennifer’s Way, and her gluten-free bakery.

But before gushing about her soon-to-be hubby, Esposito address her health struggles while filming Samantha Who which caused her to seek out medical advice.

She recalled a time when she was filming a scene and her tooth fell out in the middle of the shoot, and explained that her skin was peeling and yellowing.

"Frightening and I have to tell you infuriating. I went to doctor after doctor," she told Couric.

"I was told [it was] everything from MS to IBS. Everything."

And while she was sharing her gluten-free recipes with Couric, Esposito couldn’t help but gush about how she and her fiancé love to make treats together.

"He’s lovely," she said while blushing on the show.

Esposito also shared that the two have already picked a wedding date and ********, but she didn’t spill the beans on any of the details.

This is the second marriage for the actress.

She was previously married to Bradley Cooper for just four months in 2024, and she was Engaged to Australian tennis star Mark Phillippoussis in 2024.

Dowler has been previously linked to Kate Winslet back in 2024 after her marriage to director Sam Mendes ended.

Five stars and beyond! Nicky Hilton is Engaged to her boyfriend James Rothschild, a source exclusively confirms to Us Weekly. The Hilton Hotels heiress and fashion designer, according to the pal, said yes to her banker beau last weekend in Lake Como, Italy.

"They are both really excited and incredibly happy," the insider tells Us of the pair.

Hilton, 30, and Rothschild (the heir to the famous European banking family) started dating in 2024 after meeting at supermodel Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt‘s wedding in Italy. The sentimental spot was the ideal setting for Rothschild to propose.

"They went on a romantic anniversary trip over the weekend," the source reveals. "He took her out on a boat into the middle of Lake Como and he proposed, got down on one knee and everything. It was incredibly romantic and beautiful."

Rothschild, it turns out, went to great lengths to make sure all the details were secured before he popped the question. The insider tells Us: "Last month, he actually flew from England (where he is ****d) to the States to ask her parents for her hand in marriage!"

Now that she’s said "yes," the newly-engaged couple are celebrating with an engagement-moon of sorts. "They are going on a road trip now throughout Europe and celebrating," the pal tells Us.

The bride-to-be, younger sister to Paris Hilton, has been posting several happy Instagram snaps from their engagement excursion. So far, the pair have made their way through Milan, Lake Como, and Rome.

Hilton’s rep did not respond to requests for comment.

Lewis, who was dining at the restaurant when Gaga and Kinney broke their engagement news to her parents, tells Us that the couple weren’t attempting to keep anything secret and celebrated the happy news around the restaurant’s bar. "Gaga and Taylor were hanging out at the bar and Taylor looked kind of sheepish, like almost any guy would be, where he’s with his future in-laws and she’s showing off the ring. They were like any other couple — she’s showing off the ring and the dad is popping champagne and the groom-to-be is seeming somewhat nervous by all the excitement.”

“The family seemed very, very happy and very excited,” Lewis added.

So, what about the ring?! Lady Gaga shared a snap of her massive diamond via Instagram on Monday, Feb. 16, after Us Weekly confirmed the news.

“He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!” she captioned a close-up shot of her heart-shaped sparkler.
The “Artpop” singer and Chicago Fire actor met on set of Gaga’s “You & I” music video back in 2024. Several months later, the pair began dating only to split briefly in May 2024 before rekindling their love the follow month.

Gaga’s been vocal about marrying the hunk for some time. During a recent interview with Howard Stern she gushed he’s “the right guy.” “How do we know? It’s this feeling,” she added.
The couple have already established their roles at home, too. During a 2024 interview with Sirius XM’s “Morning Mash-Up,” Gaga admitted she dotes on Kinney at home.

“Oh yeah, he’s totally in charge. When I’m home, I’m like, shoes are off, I’m making him dinner. He has a job too and he’s really busy,” she explained. “I’m in charge all day long. The last thing I wanna do is tell him what to do. It’s not good for relationships to tell men what to do, female listeners who are out there.”

"We live in a state, Nevada, that does not yet allow same-sex marriage," explains the Stanford University grad, who came out as gay in 1997, and whose most recent acting credit was a 2024 episode of the Secret Life of the American Teenager. "Our plan is to move to California once Prop 8 is overturned."

Pintauro starred as Jonathan Bower alongside TV mom Judith Light, Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano in ABC sitcom Who’s the Boss from 1984 to 1992. He adds of his husband-to-be: "Wil is the best, and I couldn’t be happier to spend the rest of our lives together!"

Looks like Matt Rutler knows what a girl wants! After almost three years of dating, Christina Aguilera announced her engagement to Boyfriend Matt Rutler via Twitter. On Valentine’s Day, the "Beautiful" singer, 33, and her film producer Boyfriend decided to make things official.

"He asked and I said……" she wrote Friday along with a picture of her sparkling new engagement ring.
Xtina met her beau on the set of the 2024 film Burlesque, which premiered while the pop diva was in the middle of a painful divorce from ex-husband Jordan Bratman.

Aguilera and Bratman were married from November 2024 until October 2024, and, ironically, the couple finalized their divorce on Valentine’s Day 2024. They share custody of 6-year-old son Max Bratman.

"He’s the love of my life, and I adore him," Aguilera gushed about Max on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in November 2024 shortly after the divorce news broke. "He’s such a character, and he’s so happy and at the end of the day, that’s what’s most important."

Though The Voice coach is known for keeping her personal life private, Aguilera has posed with her new fiancé on several major red carpets, including the 2024 Golden Globes.

The couple has been living together in the Grammy-winning vocalist’s new Mulholland Estates mansion in Los Angeles, which she bought in April 2024 for $10 million.
