Even though the girls grabbed plenty of stares at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, hosted in association with Hugo Boss at The Royal Opera House in London, England on Tuesday (September 2), the evening was about the guys, after all. Many in the handsome bunch were naturally dressed to impress.
Douglas Booth: Rather appropriately attired in a bespoke BOSS Made to Measure suit to accept his Hugo Boss Most Stylish Man award, the actor didn’t leave anyone guessing as to his sartorial cred. He was as charming as ever in this navy-blue number. The perfect bow tie was my favourite part—the icing on the cake.
Dan Stevens: The British actor and one of the evening’s presenters wore a Dior Homme Prussian blue slim, shawl-collar tuxedo with a white cotton wing-tip tuxedo shirt and black patent leather derbies. The colour of the suit was obviously selected to bring out his intense baby-blue gaze, which helped detract from the fact that the black satin bow tie was rather oversized.
Benedict Cumberbatch: The Actor of the Year winner took a monochromatic approach in an all-black three-piece suit and tie. He could have done better for his big night.

Kanye West: Standing alongside Kim Kardashian, the rapper may have been overshadowed on the style front by his wife. That’s not to say his royal-blue blazer and chest-baring shirt didn’t stand out for its hip edge.
Jamie Dornan: Also choosing the popular colour of the night, blue, the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ heartthrob and Vertu Breakthrough Award recipient wore a deep shade of cerulean intensified by a white shirt and black shoes and tie.

Luke Evans: To go with his Jimmy Choo ‘Rufus’ shiny black loafers, Luke opted for more sheen via a midnight-blue blazer with contrasting lapels and a complementary bowtie that registered as a bit decorative for my taste.
Lewis Hamilton: Date night with Nicole Scherzinger had the Formula One driver and GQ Sportsman trophy winner looking sharp in a Dsquared2 black camouflage embossed jacket from the Fall 2024 collection. Of course, some casual sporty edge came courtesy of the slouchy pants and black sneakers.

Jonah Hill: The International Man of the Year winner needed a better fitting black suit and a sleeker tie to elevate that trophy.
Bradley Cooper: Handsome as always, the actor was a cool customer in his laidback but completely impeccable black suit and tie-less white shirt with black buttons.
Christopher Bailey: The Burberry designer and GQ Designer of the Year winner was sleek in a tailored black tux that was the epitome of classic elegance, even if the sleeves seemed a bit long.

Johnny Depp: Making a statement with his signature quirky flair, the actor was actually quite clean-cut in an all-black three-piece suit, worn sans tie, with an anchor necklace and statement tuxedo shoes. It was an impressive look for Johnny, although I would have probably done away with the slime-green nail polish.
Gerard Butler: Also in homage to Hugo Boss, the actor cut a striking profile in a bespoke BOSS Made to Measure black suit. It was a traditionally classic look, turned up several notches with a bit of scruff—and those steely blue eyes.
