Conscious Uncoupling

It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner.

Sherri Shepherd and Hubby Lamar Sally Separate

Sherri Shepherd and her television writer husband Lamar Sally are separating, the New York Post has reported.
According to a source, the 47-year-old co-host of The View has told friends her marriage is ‘in trouble’ almost four years after tying the knot at the Fairmont Hotel in her hometown of Chicago in August 2024.
There is no word on what is behind the alleged break-up and a representative for Ms Shepherd, who has an nine-year-old son via IVF from her ex-husband, has not yet responded to MailOnline’s request for comment.

Ms Shepherd divorced her first husband of eight years, Jeff Tarpley, in 2024 after she discovered he was having an affair and his mistress was pregnant.
The event inspired her sitcom Sherri, which centered around a comedienne who tried to move on with her life after divorcing her cheating husband.

A very close family insider told MailOnline that infidelity could be the reason for Ms Shepherd’s relationship woes this time around.
It’s not the first time the talk show host has been suspicious of her second husband.

Just three months after their wedding in 2024 a published report claimed Mr Sally had once been intimately involved with Wendy Marrisa Peel, whom he remained close friends with after they broke up.
But he begged Ms Shepherd to include in their wedding party – which she did not knowing they were recent lovers.

Now, Mr Sally is back in Los Angeles ‘where he belongs,’ according to the insider, while Ms Shepherd remains in New York focused on work.

Ms Shepherd recently told how she was feeling ‘better than ever’ after losing 60lbs.
The trigger for her transformation was being diagnosed with diabetes and ballooning to almost 200lbs.
With the help of friends she changed her diet and began to lose weight.
She credited her husband for helping her to rustle up healthy meals, concluding: ‘He’s my personal chef, but I gotta sleep with him.’

Ms Shepherd and Mr Sally married one year after dating.
Before their nuptials, Ms Shepherd, who was proposed to with an impressive three-carat princess-cut diamond ring, chimed: ‘This man not only loves me, but he adores my son [Jeffrey]. And my son adores him.’
The two publicly announced that they were trying to have a child together but due to Ms Shepherd’s fertility issues – she miscarried Jeffrey’s twin – they were opting for surrogacy.
Last June Ms Shepherd told the Tom Joyner Morning Show that she and her husband had found a ‘drama-free uterus.’
‘We found a girl that didn’t have any drama in her life. We’re putting in our egg and Sal’s sperm and we’ll let you know how it progresses,’ the TV personality continued.
However, there were no progress reports and now it appears their baby plans have been put on hold.

Angie Harmon and Jason Sehorn Separate After 13 Years of Marriage

Angie Harmon’s days as a football wife are over.

The Rizzoli & Isles actress, 42, announced Sunday that she and retired NFL player Jason Sehorn had separated After 13 Years of marriage. "For the sake of their children, they ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this time in their lives," her rep told The Insider With Yahoo in a statement.

Talk of trouble first came in July when Harmon sought a protective order against a woman who had been harassing her at her Los Angeles home. Harmon included her three daughters – Finley, 11, Avery, 9, and Emery, 5 – in the order, but omitted Sehorn, explaining that he was living at their main house in North Carolina and didn’t visit the L.A. abode.

Harmon became engaged to the then-New York Giants cornerback, 43, on The Tonight Show in 1998. The Law & Order alum was being interviewed when Sehorn surprised her and popped the question. They tied the knot during a star-studded celebration in her native Texas in June 2001.

When Harmon signed on for TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles in 2024, the couple was living full-time in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their children, so she began commuting to L.A. to shoot the show, leaving Jason and her girls on the East Coast. She told Good Housekeeping in 2024 that the "mommy guilt" she was feeling over her decision was difficult.

"I’m a mess," she said. "I’ve lost 10 pounds since I got here. This is the hardest time in my life, for sure."

In 2024, she talked about trying to make time for her Marriage from afar, revealing that it was a challenge. "We don’t get out Friday nights early enough to catch a flight home," she told YourTango. "So I’m here. We sometimes meet in Texas, a 2 1/2 hour flight for both of us. I miss my kids, so it’s hard, but my children are so understanding."

Asked how she kept her Marriage happy, she answered, "It’s a lot of work, really."

Perhaps too much work at the end of the day.
