Paul Simon, Wife Edie Brickell Arrested at Home on Reported Disorderly Conduct Charge

There is trouble at Home for music legend Paul Simon and his Wife of 22 years, singer Edie Brickell.

According to multiple reports, the couple was Arrested on Monday, April 28, at the New Canaan, Conn. Home they share. The singers were reportedly brought in on "some sort of a domestic violence charge," sources at the New Canaan Police Department told NBCConnecticut.

Grammy winner Simon, 72, married former New Bohemians frontwoman Brickell in May 1992. They are parents to three children, Adrian, Lulu, and Gabriel.

While there are few details to the charges as of yet, the Simon & Garfunkel alum and the "What I Am" singer, 48, reportedly engaged in a dispute this weekend. More to come…

(CNN)Vanilla Ice was put on ice Wednesday, thanks to an arrest in Lantana, Florida.

The rap artist, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with burglary residence and grand theft, according to a news release issued by the Lantana Police Department.
The Police Department said the robbery occurred sometime between December and February in a home that was going through foreclosure. Items stolen include a pool heater and furniture.

The stolen property has "since been returned to its rightful owner.""During the investigation, it was determined Robert Matthew Van Winkle played a role in the burglary and theft. Mr. Van Winkle is currently renovating the residence adjacent to the property in which the items were stolen. A search warrant was obtained and executed in unincorporated Palm Beach County in which several of the stolen items were recovered at a residence under the care and control of Robert Van Winkle," the department said.
Vanilla Ice stars on the show "The Vanilla Ice Project" for the DIY Network. On the show, he renovates and then sells houses.
CNN reached out to Van Winkle’s press rep and DIY Network, who have yet to respond.

John Stamos, soon to return to the small screen in Fox’s Grandfathered and Netflix’s Fuller House was arrested on suspicion of DUI Friday in Beverly Hills, police confirmed to USA TODAY.

Responding to several calls about erratic driving, police stopped Stamos around 7:45 p.m. PT. He was driving alone. They were concerned he might have an underlying medical condition so they escorted him to a local hospital for testing. He was placed under arrest for being under the influence and released to the hospital’s care.

Most people think he got away with 3 murders (he actually admitted to dismembering a guy, but was still acquitted!) but his big mouth and ego may have Finally done him in. Even so, I still wonder if they’ll nail him this time, he’s a slippery one and his money has gotten him out of lots of trouble in the past. Pretty fascinating guy though. Infamous Murder Suspect Robert Durst Arrested on Eve of HBO’s The Jinx Finale

Robert Durst was Arrested in New Orleans late Saturday night on Murder charges. His attorney made the arrest public on Sunday hours before the finale of HBO’s The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst was scheduled to air. The ********ary series is what has brought the 71-year-old real estate heir back in the spotlight, and he was being held Sunday on an extradition warrant out of Los Angeles, reports local ABC affiliate KTRK. His lawyer said that Durst will not fight extradition to Los Angeles and hopes his client will be able to see a judge in New Orleans on Monday. He has then vowed to fight the charges in Los Angeles.

“All reports are that he was polite and cooperative as always,” said Durst’s attorney, Chip Lewis. Houston NBC affiliate KPRC asked Lewis about the timing of the arrest: “I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it’s happening on the eve of the series finale.”

Durst has made news over more than three decades because he has been a person of interest in three deaths since 1982. “The arrest comes as authorities were interviewing new witnesses in the 2000 slaying of a Los Angeles writer, Susan Berman,” reports the Los Angeles Times. Berman was friends with Durst, who at the time of her death was also suspected in the disappearance of his wife in 1982. Then less than a year after Berman’s death, Durst was Arrested for the killing of Morris Black, his neighbor in Texas. He jumped bail before the trial but was caught in Pennsylvania for shoplifting. He admitted killing Black but said it was in self-defense and was found not guilty.

In a look at what has made The Jinx such an interesting ********ary series, the Atlantic’s David Sims notes that Durst “agreed to speak to [director Andrew] Jarecki for reasons that are hard to fully fathom” but that “perhaps the most compelling thing about The Jinx is that it’s set the wheels of justice in motion again.”

Justin Bieber got Arrested in Canada after a crashing his ATV into a minivan driven by paparazzi … TMZ has learned — and he now faces charges of dangerous driving and assault.

Bieber was taken into custody Friday afternoon in Perth County, Ontario. Police say there was a physical altercation between Justin and a paparazzo in the minivan … after they had the collision.

Justin was photographed riding the ATV with Selena Gomez Friday in Ontario near his father’s home.

Police say Justin was released and will have to appear in court later this month.

He could have a bigger problem on his hands though — Justin is on probation for 2 years after the egging case in L.A. So, it’s possible this arrest could trigger a violation.

Justin’s attorney says Justin and Selena are fully cooperating with the police investigation.

Robert Downey Jr’s son arrested for cocaine possession

Robert Downey Jr.’s son was arrested for cocaine possession in West Hollywood Sunday afternoon … law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

We’re told Indio Downey was a passenger in a car at around 2 PM PT when cops drove up along side the vehicle and noticed the passenger was smoking something out of a pipe.

An L.A. County Sheriff’s deputy pulled the car over, did a search and allegedly found cocaine in Indio’s possession. He was arrested and taken to jail for possession of cocaine.

20-year-old Indio — who appeared in "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang — posted his $10K bail and was released just after midnight Sunday.

Robert Downey Jr. famously struggled with drug addiction and ended up in prison. The drugs that got him in so much trouble — cocaine and heroin.

So sad. Indio fell into the trap, too.

KEY LARGO — Former Real Housewives of Miami Star Ana Quincoces was Arrested early Sunday morning in Key Largo after she tried to track down the new girlfriend of her former boyfriend.
According to records lawyer Quincoces, 50, the mother of two teenage daughters, was charged with knowingly driving with a suspended license.
A source tells Gossip Extra that the former RHOM cast member drove to the Keys from her home in Coral Gables in the middle of the night in an attempt to contact her ex-BF’s new girl.

She first tried to bang on the door of the Key Largo house where she thought the two were holed up after midnight Sunday. One witness said she was “yelling like trailer trash.”
After Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies arrived, they talked to Quincoces and checked her license.
They warned her it was suspended and told her not to drive.
She allegedly got back behind the wheel — and deputies picked her up near the Key Largo Bay Marriott Beach Resort.
Quincoces was a Star of the Bravo series’ season two in 2024 and was rejected by the audience for being a little too mean.
She is also a ****book writer whose Cuban Chicks Can **** book of recipes did pretty well in South Florida.
Quincoces couldn’t be reached for comment.
Said RHOM grande dame Lea Black, who has several run-ins with Quincoces on the show: “I’m sad to hear about the arrest, but I hope she can get the professional mental health care that she obviously needs.”

Teacher Arrested After Writing Futuristic Novel About School Shooting

CAMBRIDGE, Md.- He’s a man with many names, and the books he has written have raised the concerns of the Dorchester County Board of Education and the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office.

Early last week the School board was *****ed that one of its eighth grade ******** arts teachers at Mace’s Lane Middle School had several aliases. Police said that under those names, he wrote two fictional books About the largest School Shooting in the country’s history set in the future. Now, Patrick McLaw is placed on leave.

Dr. K.S. Voltaer is better known by some in Dorchester County as Patrick McLaw, or even Patrick Beale. Not only was he a Teacher at Mace’s Lane Middle School in Cambridge, but according to Dorchester Sheriff James Phillips, McLaw is also the author of two books: "The Insurrectionist" and its sequel, "Lillith’s Heir."

Those books are what caught the attention of police and School board officials in Dorchester County. "The Insurrectionist" is About two School shootings set in the future, the largest in the country’s history.

Phillips said McLaw was taken in for an emergency medical evaluation. The sheriff would not disclose where McLaw is now, but he did say that he is not on the Eastern Shore. The same day that McLaw was taken in for an evaluation, police swept Mace’s Lane Middle School for bombs and guns, coming up empty.

Dorchester County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Henry Wagner said the Dorchester County Board of Education has taken its own action.

"We have advised our community that the gentleman has been placed on administrative leave, and has been prohibited from entering any Dorchester County public School property," Wagner said.

The 23-year-old ******** arts Teacher had already taught at the School for a year.

With School starting Tuesday, some parents tell WBOC they are concerned About safety, but both Wagner and Phillips said there is nothing to worry about.

"There will be a Cambridge Police Department presence at Mace’s Lane middle School for as long as we deem it necessary," Wagner said.

"I think that the various police agencies that we have, working in conjunction with the board have a handle on the situation and I think we’re going to have a safe and happy opening day of School tomorrow," Phillips said in an interview Monday with WBOC..
Phillips said law enforcement across Delmarva have been sent McLaw’s photo and information. The sheriff said McLaw is banned from county properties in Dorchester and Wicomico counties, as well as the Delmar School District.

From another article I’ve read the book is apparently set 1000 years in the future, this guy is not the registered owner of any firearms and the "aliases" are actually the nom de plumes he writes under.

I really don’t understand the heavy handed reaction to this – a 9 year old is considered responsible enough to be given an Uzi to shoot (until it was tragically proven otherwise) but a fully grown Teacher who writes a book is slammed by the law and faces losing his academic career for Writing About a subject that has to be in the mind of anyone who works in the US School system. /smh

The 23-year-old actress had been posing with fans outside the Modern Family party hosted by Qantas at The Sebel Pier One in Sydney, Australia, when the incident occurred.

Sarah is then said to have pushed the man away and screamed ‘Don’t touch me there!’ before her security stepped in to question the fan and pass the matter over to the police.

Pictures from the event showed Sarah angrily pointing at a man believed to have been the one who touched her inappropriately.

After the incident, Sarah is reported to have left the venue via the rear door in floods of tears.

The perv fan who groped "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland’s chest in Australia this week has been charged with assault with an act of indecency, TMZ has learned.

The 29-year-old man was arrested Tuesday outside a "Modern Family" after-party in Sydney. Hyland was posing with fans when he allegedly grabbed her breast.

23-year-old Hyland immediately left the event in tears while her security handled the creep.

Hyland was remorseful about bailing on the event, saying sorry to all the fans she, "didn’t get to say hi to but I had to leave due to an inappropriate touch of a fan."
