Lantana actor Anthony LaPaglia has filed for divorce from his actress wife Gia Carides.
The Australian actor signed the legal papers to end his marriage on February 19, citing irreconcilable differences, but only filed the ********s in a California court this week, reports TMZ.com.
He is seeking joint custody of the couple’s only child, 12-year-old daughter Bridget, and has offered to pay My Big Fat Greek Wedding star Carides spousal and child support.
The couple met while co-starring in 1994 movie Paperback Romance and wed in 1998.
The union was LaPaglia’s second.
