Woman Faces Trial for Using Bacon to Set Ex’s Home on Fire

Just ask Cameo Adawn Crispi. The 32-year-old Utah woman will go on Trial next month to face charges that she used burning Bacon to start a Fire inside her ex-boyfriend’s house.

The appropriately named Crispi, 32, Faces several felony charges, including arson, burglary, assault by a prisoner, interfering with an arresting officer, electronic communication harassment and intoxication.

Crispi, who has pled not guilty, waived a preliminary hearing last week, instead opting to go to Trial on Oct. 7. She remains free on bond. Her public defender, Clint Hendricks, declined to comment.

According to charging ********s obtained by the Deseret News, Crispi, 32, entered her ex-boyfriend’s house when he was not home. While in the house, she repeatedly ****ed him. The man called police and said he did not want Crispi in his house.

According to the complaint, an officer arrived at the Home and was met at the door by Crispi.

"I asked to come in and observed a wood stove left open with a Fire burning inside and hot coals on the floor around the stove," the officer wrote. According to the Deseret News, he also noted that he found a pound of Bacon sitting on a ****** sheet on top of the kitchen stove.

"I observed the burner to be on the setting ‘High’ and the Bacon to be severely burned and smoking badly," the officer reportedly wrote.

The Fire was extinguished, and Crispi was taken to the hospital for medical observation. "The doctor asked her about the fire, and she stated she was attempting to start a Fire in the house to get back at [her ex-boyfriend]," the charges state.

According to the charging ********, her blood alcohol content was 0.346, more than four times the legal limit.
