تسلا تختبر استبدال بطارية Model S بدلاً من شحنها

بدأت شركة تسلا الأمريكية مرحلة تجريبية جديدة لاستبدال بطارية سيارتها الكهربائية Model S بسرعة، بحيث تستغرق عملية تغيير البطارية نفس الوقت اللازم لإعادة تزود سيارة صالون بالوقود بالكامل.

وأوضحت الشركة الأمريكية أن نظام استبدال البطارية يُعرف باسم "Battery Swap"، مضيفة أن عملية استبدال البطارية ستكون مدفوعة على العكس من عمليات إعادة شحن البطارية التي تتم في 312 محطة للتزود بالطاقة الكهربائية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، إلا أنها لم تكشف عن أية معلومات بشأن تكلفة استبدال البطارية المشحونة.

وتستغرق عملية استبدال البطارية حالياً حوالي ثلاث دقائق بسبب ألواح الأرضية التي يتم تركيبها لحماية البطاريات، ولكن الشركة الأمريكية تهدف إلى اختصار هذه المدة لتصل إلى دقيقة واحدة فقط.

وهناك محاولات من قبل الشركات الأوروبية أيضاً للتغلب على قصر المسافة التي يمكن قطعها بواسطة السيارات الكهربائية، حيث قامت شركة فولكس فاغن بمدينة فولفسبورغ الألمانية خلال عام 2024 بإنشاء أول محطة عامة مزودة بمعيار الشحن السريع، المعروف باسم نظام الشحن المدمج "CCS"، والذي يتيح إمكانية شحن بطارية السيارة الكهربائية بنسبة 80% في غضون 20 دقيقة فقط. ولكن لم تظهر حتى الآن أية معلومات بشأن استعمال هذا النظام على نطاق واسع.

In recent time, there has been an influx of overly pushy swimwear ads, baring haughty messages like ‘Are you beach **** ready?’ – couple that with the plethora of toned supermodels fronting them – and the thought of baring all at your local beach has gotten a little bit scarier.

Which is why swimsuitsforall’s latest swimwear campaign, ‘Beach ****, Not sorry’, is making our day.

Fronted by plus size model, Denise Bidot, and completely untouched (yes, completely), the campaign is aimed at women who are tired of seeing their **** shape not represented in swimsuit ads.

“swimsuitsforall believes women should not apologize or feel shame for their bodies,” a spokesperson told The Daily Mail. “We believe that life’s best moments happen in a swimsuit. We want women to let go of their anxieties and step out unapologetically this summer.”

And model, Denise, who features in the ad with her stretchmarks and cellulite untouched, echoes that sentiment in a statement: “There’s no wrong way to be a woman.”

“It’s time to stop apologizing. I want women to feel confident and sexy by knowing that there’s nothing wrong with being yourself.

Forget all the rules!” she continues, “Curvy women shouldn’t apologize for who they are.”

The campaign is advertising swimsuitsforall’s latest curvy collection, ‘Swim Sexy’ which features styles for women with curvier bodies.

Move aside, Human Barbie and Ken! There’s a new character in town. Penny Brown, a 25-year-old Pin-Up Model, recently got breast implants (and then some) to mimic Jessica Rabbit’s curvy frame from the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

"I’ve been obsessed with Jessica Rabbit from a really early age," Brown told the U.K.’s Mirror in a recent interview. "I think she is incredibly sexy and there’s a real power and strength to her character. I’ve always wanted to copy that—at five I was already thinking about breast implants."

The Australian native began her transformation two years ago, eventually going under the knife twice. She downsized her waist to 23 inches in order to fit into a corset, and also went from a 34H bra size to a 36O.

"It was tough at first. The corset is not a magical tool that will make your waist tiny in a few months," she admitted. "It really was hard work and dedication on my part."

As for her larger chest, she’s nearly complaint-free. "The bigger they are the better," she added. "I don’t think I’ll ever be big enough."

Brown’s husband, Cooper, is also a fan of her new ****. She’s "as close to Jessica Rabbit as any mere mortal can get," he told the Mirror. "Her shape is exciting and interesting."
