Dealing with Hathahate: “What are we supposed to do—pretend like it didn’t happen? People treated me a certain way. But I’ve grown from it. This whole thing has made me a way more compassionate and loving person. And I don’t feel sorry for myself.”

The awards season for Les Mis: “I damaged my health during Les Mis, which I didn’t want to mention in case it seemed like I was courting sympathy,” she says. She was exhausted, flu-ridden, and frustrated about the lack of interest in the character and in the issue of sexual slavery. So when Hathaway won the award for Best Supporting Actress, she was “weirdly presentational. One of the things I’ve been accused of is being inauthentic. And they were right—but not for the reason they thought. I couldn’t tie this moment to what I really wanted to say. And that’s on me, because Lupita did it.”

Learning about the backlash: “Punched in the gut. shocked and slapped and embarrassed. Even now I can feel the shame. I was in crisis. Now I’d be fine. I really would be. I’d let it roll off my back, but at the time I was still partly Fantine. I was still identifying with being a victim.”

The Oscar dress controversy: “I found a dress, like a month before. It was the most beautiful, reflective, shimmery dress—rainbows were going to dance off me.” However, the day before the ceremony, Hathaway was called by a tearful stylist’s assistant saying that the dress had already been worn. So she regrouped, choosing a gown by Valentino. “I love the house, and he’s my buddy. One of my favorite people in the entire world. It all made sense.” But that night, at Oscar rehearsals, her Les Misérables castmate Amanda Seyfried showed Hathaway her Alexander McQueen dress. “And it’s a lilac version of my dress. Two completely different designers.” At 10 o’clock the night before the Oscars, “I didn’t have a friggin’ dress, which I normally wouldn’t care about …” Long pause. “But I really needed a dress, and every**** hates me, and I just really needed a dress.”

Directors didn’t want her: “I had directors say to me, ‘I think you’re great. You’re perfect for this role, but I don’t know how audiences will accept you because of all this stuff, this baggage.’”

She’s not a vegan anymore: “I just didn’t feel good or healthy, not strong.”

Brad Pitt Punched in Face By Notorious Ukrainian Prankster at Maleficent Premiere

Brad Pitt Punched in Face By Notorious Ukrainian Prankster at Maleficent Premiere

Not the face! Brad Pitt was Punched by a Notorious celebrity Prankster on the red carpet at the Premiere of Angelina Jolie’s film Maleficent on Wednesday, May 28, a source tells Us Weekly.

Pitt was at the El Capitan theatre in Hollywood for the Premiere of the Disney film when a man, later identified as Vitalii Sediuk — the same man who crawled under America Ferrera’s skirt in Cannes on Friday, May 16 — suddenly jumped the barrier and ran up to the 12 Years a Slave actor while he was walking down the carpet.

Pitt, who was singing fan autographs, was surprised by the Ukrainian, who then made contact with Pitt’s Face before security intervened and held the so-called Prankster until police arrived on the scene.

Los Angeles Police Department’s Sergeant Leonard Calderon told Variety that Seduik was taken to the Hollywood police station where he was arrested and booked on suspicion of misdemeanour battery. He is being held on $20,000 bail.

After the incident, Jolie and Pitt took some time out before resuming official duties on the red carpet. "No**** saw or heard from Brad and Angelina for about 15 minutes," a source told Us. "At 6:45pm Angelina resurfaced and conducted her first interview. Brad walked the carpet without doing any press at all. In fact he moved so fast past the line that most people missed him."

Determined not to let the attack ruin the occasion, Angelina walked the entire press line. "She didn’t seem to let what had happened get to her," added the source.

Despite the upset, the mom-of-six was eager to get the message of her film across to her fans. "I think it’s a very important story to tell," she told Us. "There’s not just good and bad in the world, we have to understand people and what people go through," she said. "We’ve all gone through things in our lives that have made us lose ourselves for a period, and then something that helps to bring us back."

According to an eyewitness, when Pitt left the Premiere with his wife, Jolie’s father Jon Voight and his children, “he did look tense” and was “trying to shepherd his kids through the lobby and towards the back door. He was like ‘Keep tight. Stay together.’"

A Disney spokesman told Variety, "This was an unfortunate and inappropriate incident that is being investigated by the LAPD.”

In addition to Sediuk’s two recent stunts with Pitt and Ferrera, he has also attempted to kiss Will Smith, grope Bradley Cooper and grab Leonardo DiCaprio in the past.

Kelly Brook reveals she HIT ex-boyfriends Danny Cipriani and Jason Statham in her new autobiography

She’s currently engaged to be married to fitness fanatic David McIntosh, but it seems as if Kelly Brook’s love life hasn’t always been plain sailing.
The 34-year-old has talked about some of the worst parts of her past relationships in her upcoming book, Close Up, which has been exclusively serialised by Ben Jackson in The Sun On Sunday.

In the shocking extract, the model and TV presenter reveals that she hit two of her ex-boyfriends, Jason Statham and Danny Cipriani.

Kelly started dating Jason in 1998 after they met in Greece and they were together until 2024, but there was trouble when they attended Madonna’s wedding to Guy Ritchie in December 2000.
After the Lock, Stock actor made fun out of Kelly for not knowing who a song was by, Kelly said she saw red when she heard the star talking to Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow.

She said: ‘Jason started to swing his hips from side to side and do a little jive with his arms, saying: "Gywnnie, Gwynnie, Gwynnie. Sexy, sexy, sexy!.. She added: ‘He turned round, only to be met with my fist in his face.’
And Danny also faced Kelly’s wrath after they headed to the Spearmint Rhino strip club together in Las Vegas and Kelly discovered her man had given her number to a stripper.

She said: ‘As I headed back to the table, I saw Danny walking towards me. "Babe", he said, "I’ve been looking for you!" I punched him straight in the face.’
Kelly revealed that four bouncers leaped on her, before she tried to have another ‘pop’ at her boyfriend.
Meanwhile, the now happy lady has been spending lots of time with her man, David McIntosh, since he became the first person to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house.

His exit follows Kelly’s spat with Chanelle Hayes, who claimed she dated David for several weeks three years ago, before dumping him over his ‘stingy’ behaviour.
Taking aim at the reality TV star, Kelly tweeted: ‘Hang on… she slept with him even after he refused to buy her a Pizza? #Shame. I waited for Diamonds.’
A spokesperson for Kelly Brook declined to comment.
