Shonda Rhimes Slams Lady Gaga’s Sound of Music Tribute at Oscars 2015: "Dear God, Julie Had to Hear That"
Us Weekly 8 hours ago

It’s a common view that noted TV producer, beloved show creator, and outspoken activist Shonda Rhimes can do no wrong. After all, this is the woman who created Scandal’s Olivia Pope and the main reason we drink wine and stay in on Thursday nights. But on Sunday, Feb. 22, Rhimes, 45, voiced a very contrary opinion on Twitter during the2020 Oscars.

“That was not okay,” she wrote following Lady Gaga’s Sound of Music medley tribute. “I mean, Idina [Menzel] is there. She is right there. RIGHT THERE. And oh dear God, Julie [Andrews] had to hear that. #Oscars2015.”

The “Applause” singer’s unexpected and praised performance actually brought tears to the 1965 film’s star Julie Andrews, 79, who hugged Lady Gaga, 28, and raved about her rendition of the musical’s iconic songs.

On Monday, Feb. 23, a fan responded to Rhimes’ criticism, writing, “@shondarhimes wow, missing the point. The unexpected Gaga made the moment.” The #TGIT producer replied, “I probably did miss the point. Everyone else loved it. That’s okay.”

Future doesn’t care that ex-fiancée Ciara is dating Russell Wilson — but he does care that the Seattle Seahawks quarterback is spending time with their 16-month-old son, Future Jr.

“I swear, man, I’m not thinking about her,” the rapper, 31, said on The Breakfast Club on Thursday, July 16. “I mean, I want her to be totally happy. Like you gotta understand, you want a person to be happy [but] I’m not bitter,” he said of his ex, 29, dating the NFL pro, 26. “People think I’m bitter because she moved on. But I’m good. I’m taking care of me. I don’t need him — she needs him."

He does, however, care that their son has been added to the equation.

“Of course I wouldn’t want someone pushing my son,” the Dirty Sprite 2 artist said when asked about the May photos of Wilson pushing Future Jr. in a stroller. "Like, that’s the No. 1 rule. Like, if I was a kid and my mom had a dude pushing me, I would’ve jumped out of the Stroller and slapped the s–t out of…you never do that in our community. You don’t even bring a man around your son. You know this dude for a few months and you’re bringing him around your kid?” he continued. "Who does that? No**** does that."

This isn’t the first time Future’s been vocal about not being the keenest with Wilson and Ciara dating. After Us Weekly exclusively revealed the “Dance Like We’re Making Love” songstress was dating Wilson, fans tweeted at Future, who responded with: “I wish I cared.”

Ciara and Wilson, however, couldn’t be happier. The two gave each other shoutouts on Instagram after attending the2020 ESPYS together in Los Angeles on Wednesday, July 15.

“The One,” Wilson captioned a photo with Ciara at the awards show. Ciara, equally smitten, captioned her own snap with the baller: “Sweetest Thing I’ve Eva Known.”

Michael Jackson estate slams new molestation claim

Michael Jackson estate slams new molestation claim

10:00 A.M. PDTHoward Weitzman — attorney for Jackson’s estate — tells TMZ Safechuck has denied many times over the past 25 years that Michael ever did anything inappropriate to him … but is "now demanding money from Michael’s estate by claiming he suddenly recalls life differently." Weitzman says Michael is no longer able to defend himself, but "we believe these ***** and scurrilous allegations will not prevail."

A new sexual molestation claim has been filed against the estate of Michael Jackson by a man who claims the singer sexually abused him from the time he was 10 until he was around 15 … this according to a new report.

This latest claim was added on to the lawsuit filed by Wade Robson last year, so says The Daily Beast. The filing is sealed, but the site reports the claims are being made by James Safechuck, who appeared as a child alongside Jackson in a 1987 commercial for Pepsi (see below).

According to the report, Safechuck had long denied being sexually abused by Jackson, but decided to come forward after Robson made his claims public.

There were rumors about Jackson’s relationship with Safechuck in the late 80s … the singer was often seen with the young boy following their commercial together … including the opening performance of "The Phantom of the Opera" with Liza Minnelli (see above).

The estate has already objected to Robson’s claim because it was both suspicious and filed too late.

The lawyer for the latest Michael Jackson sexual molestation accuser is coming out swinging … telling TMZ the pop star routinely made the young boy skip school so he could be "available" to MJ.

James Safechuck‘s lawyer, Maryann Marzano, tells TMZ … MJ publicly flaunted his relationship with the boy, making it appear they were best friends and Safechuck was Michael’s protege. The lawyer says in reality MJ was privately molesting the kid.

As TMZ previously reported, James Safechuck (who appeared alongside MJ in a 1987 Pepsi commercial) is accusing Jackson of years of sexual abuse. MJ estate attorney Howard Weitzman has called the allegations "***** and scurrilous."

Marzano says a "narcissistic" MJ would prevent Safechuck from going to school as a 10 and 11-year-old so the boy could be available to him when he was on tour.

Marzano tells TMZ, "If there is still any question about the predatory nature of Michael Jackson’s so-called ‘friendships’ with young boys, it should be laid to rest by the indisputable facts of what Michael did to James Safechuck."

The specific accusations are sealed, but Marzano says the case against Michael is airtight.

Sarah Jessica Parker Slams Twitter User For ‘Disgusting’ Remark About Her Kids

Self-described "relationship expert" Sarah J. Symonds learned the hard way that if you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say it. Especially if it’s About Sarah Jessica Parker’s children.

According to Perez Hilton, Symonds, who is the author of "Having an Affair? A Handbook for the Other Woman,” made a comment About how the actress’ children don’t look like her, presumably in reference to the fact that Parker used a surrogate to carry her twin girls in 2024. Symond’s exact comments remain somewhat of a mystery as she deleted them as soon as the 49-year-old actress lashed out at her for her cruelty.

And boy, did Parker let her have it.

After taking down Symonds, Parker made sure to thank her fans for their support, tweeting: "Before I go to sleep I want to thank everyone for coming to my defense today. I didnt relish the opportunity to publicly reprimand. But the words tossed so casually About my children and their provenance I could not abide. Nor are they true."

Though when asked exactly what Symonds said to set her off, the former "Sex and the City" star declined to get specific, and instead told fans, "[Symonds] knows what she said. When I responded ? She had the opportunity to be a civilized human being,"she wrote. "And perhaps apologize instead she deleted and ran for cover. Suffice to say, it was disgusting."

Giorgio Armani slams Anna Wintour for ‘snubbing’ his Milan show

Giorgio Armani slams Anna Wintour for ‘snubbing’ his Milan show

The devil doesn’t wear Armani! Giorgio Armani slammed Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour after she was noticeably missing from the front row of his Fall 2024 Womenswear show on the last day of Milan Fashion Week on Monday, Feb. 24. Without directly mentioning her ****, Armani went off on Conde Nast’s imperious creative director during a post-show press conference.
“There are some who prefer to snub the Giorgio Armani show and go to Paris,” the 79-year-old Italian designer said, according to WWD. “She took an airplane, dumped Mr. Armani and went to Paris.”

“Why should I always be the moron translating from an Italian expletive] to be penalized because of a person, who, for better or for worse, like or dislike it, is powerful? I feel penalized,” he added. “She said she was sending her people. But if you go to see your dentist and he puts you in the hands of his assistant, what’s your reaction? They told me, ‘She went to see the [Armani] Prive in Paris; she has no time to see the ready-to-wear in Milan.’ She is influential and powerful. But, perhaps, I’m influential as well.” (That dig seemed to imply that Armani, perhaps, could choose not to run his ads in Vogue and other Conde Nast publications.)
Milan Fashion Week ended on Monday, Feb. 24, and Paris Fashion Week kicked off Tuesday, Feb. 25. A spokesperson for Vogue told WWD that Wintour, 64, was unable to attend Armani’s show due to the tight schedule.

“Anna has the greatest respect for Giorgio Armani and everything he has done for Italy and fashion worldwide,” the statement said. “Unfortunately, with the fashion calendar now running for more than a month, there are some shows that Anna is not able to attend.”
Indeed, Wintour was front row at many shows throughout New York City Fashion and London Fashion Weekearlier this month. On Feb. 16, she attended the Topshop Unique show and sat next to Kim Kardashian’s younger sister, Kendall Jenner.
