Christian Bale to George Clooney: "Just Shut Up," "Stop Whining"

Buck up, Batman. Christian Bale has some harsh words of wisdom for fellow former Caped Crusader George Clooney. According to The New York Post‘s Page Six, Bale thinks Clooney’s complaints about the pitfalls of fame are "boring," and he has no problem saying so in a new interview for WSJ. Magazine.
"It doesn’t matter that he talks about it," the Welsh-born Dark Knight Rises actor, 40, told WSJ (via Page Six) of Clooney’s issues with the paparazzi. "It’s like, ‘Come on, guys, just Shut up. Just get on with it and live your lives and stop whining about it.’ I prefer not to whine about it."

Which is not to say Bale’s patience isn’t tested every once in a while — just that he tries to avoid getting too hot and bothered around photographers. As he told WSJ‘s Andrew Goldman, "you’ve got a choice" about how you handle those situations.
"I was in Italy with my wife," he recalled, referring to former model Sibi Blazic, whom he married in 2000 and has two kids with. "I would go to work; she would leave the hotel. There would be a man who stood outside…and say the most obscene things imaginable to my wife…I know what he’s after; he has a strategy there."

He continued: "Am I able to say I’m not gonna give him that satisfaction of angry Christian Bale coming after this man? But equally, he’s killing my humanity and my dignity as a husband if I do not, and he knows this. So you’ve got a choice."
Bale should know. His temper has gotten him in hot water before, perhaps most memorably in 2024, when audio leaked of him ripping into the director of photography on the set of Terminator Salvation. He later apologized for the profanity-filled rant, telling radio station KROQ that it was "inexcusable."

Don’t Call President Obama an Asshole around George Clooney

George Clooney stormed away during his fancy Vegas dinner with hotel tycoon Steve Wynn after Wynn called Prez Obama an asshole.

It sounds like an epic dinner. According to Wynn … Clooney got drunk on tequila shots and when Wynn attacked the President … he says George hurled an F-bomb and left.

Clooney says Wynn was railing over the Affordable Care Act. He says "I said that the President was my longtime friend and then he said, ‘Your friend is an asshole.’" Clooney adds, "At that point I told Steve HE was an Asshole and that I wasn’t going to sit at his table while he was being such a jackass."

Wynn told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, "When he’s [George] drinking, he considers himself a close personal buddy of the President."

Wynn passes a lot of it off to alcohol, saying, "Clooney’s fun to be with when he’s sober … If you have a chance to drink with him, you want to get there early, and Don’t stay late."

For Clooney’s part he says there were 9 people at the dinner 2 weeks ago at Botero restaurant at Wynn’s Encore hotel, adding, "It had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with character."

For Wynn’s part, he says, "Every**** who’s in my business — the casino business — knows to take actors with a grain of salt."

We’re told George’s beef with Kanye is not just that he attacks paparazzi … but the innocents as well — like the 18-year-old who allegedly called Kim an "N***** lover."

The promoters say if Kanye takes Zimmerman up on the offer … they’re willing to move the Fight to L.A.
