When Patricia Arquette was in ninth grade, a male student who had voted her "best looking" in their class suggested she straighten her teeth so she could pose for Playboy.
Arquette – who had already told her parents that she Didn’t Want to straighten her pearly whites because "it Didn’t feel like it would fit who I was inside" – was floored by her classmate’s sexist suggestion.
"I said, ‘Why would I Want to be in Playboy?’ " Arquette, now 46, tells PEOPLE. "I just Didn’t Want to Look perfect. I Didn’t Want to have to change myself to be attractive. I Didn’t think that was my responsibility."
Even today, Arquette – whose new drama CSI: Cyber debuts Wednesday on CBS – is loath to discuss her appearance and what it’s like to age in front of the camera. Though she says it was "powerful" to do it for Boyhood, a movie that was shot over a 12-year period, Arquette doesn’t understand why, as an actress, she is constantly asked to talk about how she appears on camera.
"I’ve had so many of these conversations in my life … what I Look like on film, what I don’t Look like on film. What are we supposed to Look like? Men are not having these conversations," says Arquette.
"It’s like we’re trapped in wet wool or something. I just Want to be free of it so we can move to the next level as equals. Not that I don’t love being a woman, not that I don’t love the differences between men and women. I just mean, as an actor – why is this a conversation? Why is aging a conversation? It’s a one-sided conversation because it’s only ever had by women."

News Station accidentally Airs Penis Pic Amid Crash Coverage
These may be some of the most mortified faces you’ll ever see.
Amid coverage of a helicopter crash in Seattle, Wash., Tuesday morning, Fox Denver affiliate KDVR intended to broadcast some Twitter photos from the scene which were presumably being piped in from someone’s computer in the control room.
While they did find at least one photo of the crash, they also accidentally aired a very not-safe-for-work photo.
After the first relevant picture from Seattle, the hosts stumbled when a picture of Edward Scissorhands popped up onscreen. That, in turn, was hastily replaced by a photo of an entrée resembling an omelette, which, after one more click of the mouse, was swapped out for a picture of an exposed penis.
Though producers instantly cut from the photo, the hosts’ reactions leave little doubt about what happened.
In a statement to The Denver Post, Fox31 News Director Ed Kosowski acknowledged the mishap.
"We are going to make a public statement," he said. "We are not ready to comment about any potential action against employees. That’s a personnel matter."
A more thorough explanation and apology are said to be forthcoming.

ماذا نعني بزمن المضارع التام المستمر ؟
What do we mean by Present Perfect tense?
بكل بساطة هو / الزمن الذي يستخدم للتحدث عن نشاط أو عمل معين
((فعل)) وقع في الماضي (سواء كان الماضي البعيد أو القريب ) واستمر هذا العمل أو
الفعل إلى الآن (وقت ما أتكلم أنا ) إذا مايهمنا هنا في هذا الزمن هو إستمرارية الحدث
O.K
مثلا / أخي قام بتصليح السيارة من قبل ساعة ونصف ومازال إلى الآن
(وقت ماأتكلم أنا) يعمل في تصليح السيارة . طيب الفعل هذا أو الحدث هذا وهو
((تصليح السيارة)) بدأ في الماضي القريب (قبل ساعة ونصف )
ومازال إلى الآن أي أن الحدث لم ينتهي بعد ..
كيف نصيغ زمن المضارع التام المستمر؟
How to form The Present Perfect Continuous tense?
طبعا نصيغ هذا الزمن عن طريق أولا وضع الفعل المساعد
Have
أو
Hasثم نضيف كلمة
Been
ثم نضيف الفعل وملحق به حرف
Ing
إذا تكون النتيجة هكذا
Have/has +Been+ V- ing
Been
هذه أساسية لايمكن حذفها وهي مايميز هذا الزمن طبعا مع الفعل الملحوق ب Ing
سوف نقسم الصياغة إلى قسمين:
أولا/ الصياغة الخاصة بالمفرد Singular
والذي يأخذ الفعل المساعد has
وهنا يتبع هذا القسم الضمائر التالية أو مايناسبها من الأسماء الظاهرة في الفاعل :
وهذه الضمائر هي :
She-He-Itفتصبح الصيغة
Subject + has+ been + V ing
إذا نضع الفاعل أولا وهو أحد الضمائر السابقة أو مايناسبها من الأسماء الظاهرة
مثال
He has been working .
ثانيا/ الصياغة الخاصة بالجمع Pluralوالذي يأخذ الفعل المساعد have
وهنا يتبع هذا القسم الضمائر التالية أو مايناسبها من الأسماء الظاهرة في الفاعل :
وهذه الضمائر هي :
I – we – you – theyفتصبح الصيغة

إذا نضع الفاعل أولا وهو أحد الضمائر السابقة أو مايناسبها من الأسماء الظاهرة

متى نستخدم المضارع التام المستمر؟
When to use The Present Perfect Continuous tense?
وهو إستخدام واحد حينما نريد ان نشير إلى( مدة ) عمل معين بدأ في الماضي
واستمر إلى الحاضر .ولذلك نستخدم كلمات معينة سأتطرق لها بعد الأمثلة .
أمثلة / Examples
I have been sitting here since seven o’clock.
أنا أجلس هنا منذ السابعة تماما .أي أنه كان جالسا ومازال جالسا . (الحدث تام مستمر)
You have been studying for five hours. Why don’t you take a break?
أنت تدرس لمدة خمس ساعات متواصلة لماذا لتأخذ قسطا من الراحة .
فالحدث هنا هو (الدراسة ) كانت في الماضي من قبل خمس ساعات ومازالت إلى الآن .
It has been raining all day .
إنها تمطر هذا اليوم. فالحدث هنا هو نزول المطر حيث أنه كان ينزل منذ البداية
ومازال مستمرا في الهطول فالحدث هنا تام وأيضا مستمر .
وعند طرح سؤال في هذا الزمن نستخدم How long ……..? لأن اهم شي في هذا الزمن Present Perfect Continuous هو الوقت او المدة الزمنية Time .
إذاً تستخدم كلمة How long للسؤال عن المدة الزمنية في المضارع التام المستمر و تكون الإجابة باستخدام since – for
لنشرح الأمثله عن طريق السؤال والجواب:

مالمده التي درست فيها الإنجليزيه ؟
A) I’ve been studying English for four years.
صار لي أربع سنوات وأنا أدرس الإنجليزيه
ونستطيع الإجابه بإختصار
for four years
نحو 4 سنوات

ونستعمل كلمات أخرى مثل

تبين الجمله هنا أنها كانت تمطر وما زالت
ولو لاحظنا إن هذه الكلمات تشير إلى مدة معينة كما يتطلب هذا الزمن .

متى نستخدم المضارع التام البسيط؟
يستخدم المضارع التام Present Perfect Simple للدلالة على فعل او عمل حدث في الماضي ومازالت اثاره في الوقت الحاضر .
كيف يتكون المضارع التام؟
يتكون المضارع التام بوضع have / has + past participle
إذا
she , he , it + has
i , you , we , they + have
مثال :
I have broken the ****** لقد كسرت الكاس
لو أنك دخلت البيت ووجدت أبنك قد كسر الكأس و سألته ما الذي يجري فسوف يجيبك :
I have broken the glass = لقد كسرت الكأس
و ليس I broke the glass = لأنك ترى الكأس المكسور أمامك أي النتيجة مازالت موجودة في الوقت الحاضر
Keys words :لكلمات التي تستخدم للدلالة على الزمن المضارع البسيط هي :
so far/ already/ just/ never/ up till now/ yet
مثال:
I have already finished my work
I have just arrived from Dammam
امثلة وتوضيح للكلمات التي تستخدم عادة مع المضارع التام وهي:
already
وتعني للتو –الآن –سابقا
مثال:
She has already gone.
لقد ذهبت للتو
Just وتقع بين الفعل الأساسي والفعل المساعد.
وتعني منذ لحظات – منذ وقت قصير-بالتمام أو تماما .
مثال:
Do you like something to eat?
No I have just had lunch.
Yet وبالعادة تستخدم هذه الكلمة في النفي والأسئلة فقط
وتعني حتى الآن وهي تشير إلى أن المتكلم يتوقع شيئا أن يحدث .
أمثلة :
هذا مثال على النفي
I have written the letter but I haven’t posted it yet.
لقد كتبت الرسالة ولكني لم أرسلها بعد.
وهذا مثال على السؤال:
Has it stopped raining yet?
ألم يتوقف هطول المطر حتى الآن؟
ملاحظة :* نحن يمكن ان نستخدم المضارع التام للتعبير عن شيء حدث لأول مرة .
أمثلة:
This is the first time I have driven a car.
هذه هي المرة الأولى التي أقود فيها السيارة .
· إذا أراد شخص يسأل شخص آخر عن شيء عمله في حياته بامتدادها يستخدم المضارع التام
عن طريق إستخدام الصيغة التالية في السؤال:
Have you ever+V past participle
أمثلة :
Have you ever eaten caviar?
هل مرة في حياتك تسنى لك أن تأكل الكافيار.
Have you ever read Hamlet?
وعند طرح السؤال نستخدم مع هذا الزمن How many …..?لأن العدد number هو اهم شئ في هذا الزمن
مثال :
She has eaten three apples
نلا حظ هنا ان الحدث المهم هو عدد التفاحات المأكولة وهو 3 لذا نستخدم في السؤال How many:
How many apples has she eaten??
مثال آخر :
I have watched two programmes
نلا حظ هنا ان الحدث المهم هو عدد البرامج المشاهدة وهو 2 لذا نستخدم في السؤال How many:
How many programms have you watched??
