Fuck Santa! Kirk Cameron’s New Movie Gives Baby Jesus His Birthday Back

Fuck Santa! Kirk Cameron’s New Movie Gives Baby Jesus His Birthday Back

Let me tell you guys my idea of a perfect Christmas. You wake up like it’s any other day—it might not feel like December 25, it might even feel like, say, August 27—you go to work, you eat your sandwich, you shoulder life’s banality with the resignation of a much older woman, and then…someone sends you a link. You click. Oh my god. My god. Kirk CAMERON IS DOING AND SAYING STUFF AGAIN!!!!! IT REALLY IS THE Baby JESUS’S BIRTHDAY!

Specifically, Kirk Cameron is making a Movie called Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas, in which Kirk Cameron goes around just fucking saving Christmas nonstop. Saving it from what, you might ask? Well, let’s hear from Kirk Cameron himself!

Via Laura Turner:

The opening line of the trailer for the film asks if you, the potential viewer, ever feel like Christmas is being hijacked by commercialism, or by people who want to "replace ‘Merry Christmas’ with ‘Happy Holidays’ or ‘Season’s Greetings’–whatever that means." That is a really good point. Who knows what "Happy Holidays" even means??

…Cameron went on in his interview with The Blaze: "It’s obvious that there is a deliberate attempt to snuff out the holy root that has produced all this wonderful Christmas-time fruit. I think it’s about time someone spoke out and made a Movie about this…Christianity…is the ideology that built this country."

In other words, Kirk Cameron made a Movie about how mean atheists and goat-people from the pit have banded together to distract America from the true meaning of the end part of December: What theologians refer to as Mother Mary’s Big Squirt.

Kirk Cameron hasn’t forgotten. Why have you!?!?!?

As many as 105,000 gallons of crude might have spilled

California Governor Jerry Brown declared a state of emergency for Santa Barbara County on Wednesday as cleanup teams sought to limit the environmental impact from a ruptured underground pipeline that might have spilled as many as 105,000 gallons of crude oil.

More than 20,000 gallons are estimated to have spilled into the ocean, seeping through the ground into a culvert and flowing into the ocean near Refugio State Beach, the Los Angeles Times reports. Oil slicks across a combined nine miles have stretched along the coastline.

The owner of the pipeline that ruptured Tuesday afternoon is Houston-based Plains All American Pipeline, which last saw results for an inspection in 2024. The line, which can pump as many as 6.3 million gallons a day, averages a flow rate of some 50,400 gallons per hour.

“We’re sorry this accident has happened and we’re sorry for the inconvenience to the community,” said Darren Palmer, district manager for Plains All American, told reporters.

There’s no estimate yet on the harm to local natural life, but officials estimate it will take at least three days—likely many more—to clean up the Spill before the damage can be assessed.

An estimated 21,000 gallons of crude oil dumped into the ocean from a broken pipeline has created a Spill stretching about four miles off the central California coast along a public beach on Tuesday.

The pipeline, which runs parallel to Highway 101 near Santa Barbara, left a slick extending for miles along Refugio State Beach extending about 50 yards into the water, said Coast Guard Officer Andrea Anderson.

The 24-inch pipeline has been shut off and the cause of the rupture had not been determined, Anderson said.

The pipe is operated by Plains All American Pipeline LP and the company did not immediately respond to phone messages seeking comment.

Santa Barbara County health officials have shut down Refugio, the central site of the spill, though many had abandoned the site already because of the foul smell.

That smell brought county firefighters to the beach earlier in the day to discover the spill.

‘They found about a half-mile slick of dark, black crude oil in the ocean,’ fire Capt. Dave Zaniboni said.

They traced the oil to the onshore pipeline that spilled into a culvert that ran under the freeway and through a storm drain into the ocean.

The scenic stretch of coastline about 20 miles northwest of the pricey real estate of Santa Barbara is dotted with state-run beaches that are popular with campers, and the Spill comes just a few days before the Memorial Day weekend and subsequent summer camping season begin.

The stretch of coastline is also home to many oil rigs and drilling operations, and small amounts of tar and seepage show up on beaches, but in much smaller amounts.

Richard Abrams, Emergency manager for Santa Barbara County, said the Coast Guard, Department of Fish and Wildlife and Santa Barbara County were assisting on the clean-up.

‘We haven’t seen any reports of impacts on wildlife but it is in the water so it is impacting the environment,’ Abrams said.

Boats from the nonprofit collective Clean Seas were being used in the cleanup.

There was no immediate estimate of how long the cleanup might take.

The Santa Barbara-based Environmental Defense Center said such a Spill was inevitable with coastal oil development, but still unwelcome.

‘To see this level of Spill into such a sensitive and treasured environment is devastating to watch,’ the EDC said in a statement.

The group expressed special worry for the many species of whale that migrate through the area.

Sierra Club California Director Kathryn Phillips said, ‘Every time we hear about an oil spill, we hold our breath and hope it won’t get worse.’

She said in her statement that the Spill was especially troubling because no one caught it ‘until several barrels of oil had already tumbled into the ocean.’

The Spill came on the same stretch of coast as a 1969 oil Spill that was the largest ever in US waters at the time and is credited for giving rise to the modern American environmental movement.

Several hundred thousand gallons from a blowout on an oil platform were spilled, and thousands of sea birds were killed along with many marine mammals.

It was later surpassed in size by 1989’s Exxon Valdez Spill off Alaska and the 2024 Gulf oil Spill off Louisiana.

Seven dead in shooting near UC Santa Barbara

Seven dead in shooting near UC Santa Barbara

Looks like some guy went on a shooting rampage last night, killing six, wounding several, and then possibly killing himself. It’s not clear if he shot himself or he was shot by the police.

Police are looking at this as a premeditated mass murder because of a video posted on youtube titled Retribution. They think it was posted by the shooter and the shooter claimed in the video that it was retribution day for all the women that ignored him or rejected him over the years. Wonderful.

For those of you that are familiar with Santa Barbara, it is a small, beautiful little town along the coast of California.

7 dead in California shooting rampage called ‘premeditated mass murder’

(CNN) — A gunman described as mentally disturbed and possibly bent on retribution sprayed bullets from a slow-moving car in a small Southern California college town, killing six people in a rampage called "premeditated mass murder," Santa Barbara County sheriff’s deputies said Saturday.
The gunman also died from a gunshot wound after his car crashed Friday night, police said. It was unclear if the fatal head wound was self-inflicted or the result of a firefight with police.
Seven people also were being treated in a hospital for gunshot wounds or traumatic injuries, including at least one who was in surgery, said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Kelly Hoover.
"The sheriff’s office has obtained and is currently analyzing written and video evidence that suggests this was a premeditated mass murder," Hoover said.

Hoover apparently was referring to a YouTube video titled "Retribution" posted by a young man. In the nearly seven-minute video, the young man rants about women who ignored or rejected him over the past eight years and warns that he will "punish you all for it."
"Tomorrow is the day of retribution, the day in which I will have my revenge," the man says on the video.
The shootings occurred in Isla Vista near the University of California, Santa Barbara, in a crowded area bustling with activity on Memorial Day weekend.

"I don’t recall hearing any screaming," witness Robert Johnson told CNN, describing the moment the gunman opened fire on people outside a deli. "It was at that point where I turned and ran in the opposite direction. … There’s a lot of confusion. Police: shooting a mass murder situation

"I don’t recall hearing any screaming," witness Robert Johnson told CNN, describing the moment the gunman opened fire on people outside a deli. "It was at that point where I turned and ran in the opposite direction. … There’s a lot of confusion. Even shortly after this whole ordeal had ended, I think a lot of people didn’t realize the magnitude of the situation."
The violence began and ended within minutes, from 9:27 p.m. when shots were reported to around 10 minutes later when police discovered the **** of the suspected gunman, CNN affiliate KEYT-TV said. Authorities said there were nine separate crime scenes.
"Sheriff’s deputies responded and found several victims suffering from gunshot wounds. As sheriff’s deputies were attending to the victims and performing first aid, they were also receiving suspect information. Only minutes later, there were additional reports of shots fired in several other areas of Isla Vista," Hoover said.
U.S. law enforcement officials said the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and FBI were assisting local police in the investigation, including trying to trace the handgun used and where the possible suspect obtained it.
Johnson told CNN he was standing on a corner when he heard what he thought were fireworks. Then a black BMW with tinted ******s drove by and either slowed down or stopped outside a deli where as many as eight people were eating outside. Someone in the car opened fire.
"It all happened very quickly, but I think this happened to be the largest group on the street," he said. "It think it was just targeted because it was the largest group in the area."
People jumped up and ran, Johnson recalled.
Worst U.S. mass shootings
KEYT reporter John Palminteri told CNN that some witnesses reported hearing the gunman talk to some of his victims as he fired. Outside a 7-11 convenience store, he said, workers came out amid the gunfire to pull to safety a girl who had been shot in the leg. Another victim, a bicyclist, apparently sustained massive head injuries after being struck by the gunman’s car.
One woman told the station that a driver of a car flashed a gun at her and asked, "Hey, what’s up?" before opening fire. She escaped unharmed.
"I heard some pops, but I just assumed they were fireworks," said Daniel Slovinsky, who was eating at a restaurant. "Contrary to what you might expect, there wasn’t a whole lot of chaos immediately. I didn’t hear any screaming. A few people were running. … It wasn’t really until police started yelling at people to get inside that we realized something big went down. But even then people didn’t know what."
KEYT reported that "witnesses described seeing a black BMW speeding through the streets, spraying bullets at people and various targets." Six minutes after the first emergency call, the suspected gunman traded fire with sheriff’s deputies, and the vehicle plowed into a parked vehicle, said Hoover, the sheriff’s office spokeswoman.
The suspected gunman was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound, she said, adding that it wasn’t clear whether the death was self-inflicted or whether deputies killed the suspected gunman. A semiautomatic handgun was recovered, she said.
It appears the suspect acted alone, Hoover said.
Santa Barbara Sheriff Bill Brown called the suspect "severely mentally disturbed," according to KEYT.
Authorities searching for a motive were looking into a video posted on social media that contains a man’s tirade against women who supposedly rebuffed him, Brown told the station. Hoover said the suspect has been preliminarily identified but his **** won’t be released until "a positive identification is made."
