The Grandmother of a little boy in Ukraine who Sir Elton John Tried unsuccessfully to Adopt has called on the Singer for
‘any help’ he could give. Sir Elton and his husband David Furnish were captivated by little Lev Ageyev when they encountered him at an orphanage in 2024. But under Ukraine’s laws, gay men are banned from adopting and in any case Sir Elton, then aged 62, was considered too old. Sir Elton said at the time: ‘I would love to Adopt him. He has stolen my heart.’

Lev’s Grandmother Yulia, 61, has now rescued him from the orphanage. She said: ‘I have taken Lev out of the kindergarten until the trouble is over.’ She added: ‘I know he felt something for Lev. We’re worried what will happen so any Help he could give us would be appreciated.’ She added: ‘Lev went away to a camp recently and ended up becoming the star. He told everyone that Elton John wanted to Adopt him.’

After failing to Adopt him, the couple publicly pledged to find him a home in his native country and send regular financial help. In 2024 Lev’s Grandmother said she had not heard anything for Sir Elton since his visit. She said the Singer had also promised to Help Lev’s HIV-positive brother, Artyom. Lev’s alcoholic mother Marina, who was also HIV positive, died of pneumonia in 2024.

Singer Zendaya Calls Out Giuliana Rancic for Offensive Hair Comments

خليجية

E!’s Fashion Police are known for their harsh criticism of stars looks on the red carpet, but this time, host Giuliana Rancic may have taken things too far. During Monday night’s broadcast of the post-Oscars Fashion Police show, Rancic commented on actress and Singer Zendaya’s choice to wear dreadlocks on the Oscars red carpet, saying, “I feel like she smells like patchouli oil. Or weed. Maybe weed?”

Zendaya took to Twitter on Monday night to respond to Rancic’s comments, calling her remarks “outrageously offensive.” In the Twitter post, which has over 35,000 retweets and 38,000 favorites, Zendaya lists prominent men and women who also wear their Hair in dreadlocks and recommends that people go and listen to India Arie’s song, “I Am Not My Hair,” before judging others. “There is already harsh criticism of African American Hair in society without the help of ignorant people who choose to judge others based on the curl of their hair,” says the singer. “My wearing my Hair in locs on an Oscar red carpet was to showcase them in a positive light, to remind people of color that our Hair is good enough.”

Many of Zendaya’s fans, including Khloé Kardashian, took to Twitter in support of her statement and look.

Rancic tried to clear the air on Twitter early Tuesday morning suggesting that her comment was not related to race. “I was referring to a bohemian chic look. Had NOTHING to do with race and NEVER would!!!” But this might only be the beginning of a much larger discussion about beauty and race.

What’s This?

country superstar Blake ****ton is not only a great singer, he’s also a good dude.
An Oklahoma man’s truck stalled while trying to cross a flooded road, and just as things took a bad turn, a familiar face showed up in a truck with a rope. That face belonged to none other than Blake ****ton, who helped tow the stranded man to safety, and made sure he got home in one piece.

If this isn’t the basis for an amazing country song, we don’t know what is.

Rocker sang on band’s hits ‘Burning Heart’ and ‘The Moment of Truth,’ as well as ‘Baywatch’ theme ‘I’m Always There’

Jimi Jamison, the Lead singer of Eighties rock bands Cobra and Survivor, passed away August 31 after suffering a heart attack, TMZ reports. He was 63. Jamison’s booking manager confirmed to TMZ that the former Survivor singer had died. Jamison served as Survivor’s Lead singer from 1984 until 1988, proving the vocals for the band’s hits like "The Moment of Truth" from The Karate Kid, "Is This Love," and "Burning Heart" from Rocky IV. As a solo artist, he recorded the track "I’m Always Here," which became the memorable theme song for the TV series Baywatch.

Jamison joined Survivor after their then-lead Singer, David Bickler, was forced to leave the group after developing polyps on his vocal chords shortly after Survivor recorded their biggest hit, the Grammy-winning Rocky III cut "Eye of the Tiger." In 1984, following the dissolution of Cobra, Jamison stepped in as Survivor Lead Singer, recording three albums with the band, 1984’s Vital Signs, 1986’s When Seconds Count and 1988’s Too Hot to Sleep. Survivor disbanded in 1989, but reformed in 1993 with Bickler back at the microphone. Jamison would eventually rejoin Survivor in 2000 for another six years.

In the Nineties, the band was mired in legal issues as Jamison toured under the Survivor moniker even though his former bandmates, who had reunited with Bickler, also performed as Survivor. This Lead to lawsuits between the two groups, which weren’t resolved until guitarist Frankie Sullivan assumed ownership of the Survivor name. The band eventually made amends and, in recent years, Survivor toured with both Jamison and Bickler.

At press time, neither Survivor’s Twitter nor Facebook accounts had commented on Jamison’s death. The band had performed in Morgan Hill, California on August 30. They were scheduled to begin another tour on September 12 in Parker, Colorado.
