The son of boxing champion Muhammad Ali has accused the millionaire’s wife of refusing to let him see his ailing father.

Muhammad Ali Junior, 41, who says he is forced to survive on food stamps in a rough Chicago neighbourhood, last saw his father on his 71st birthday a year ago.

But as the legendary boxer turned 72 on January 17, Muhammad Ali Junior claims he couldn’t even get through on the phone to wish him a happy birthday.

He alleges his father’s fourth wife of 27 years, Lonnie, has made it increasingly difficult for him to see or even speak to the retired sportsman who is in the advanced stages of Parkinson’s disease.

He says more than anything he wants to see his father before he dies.

The boxer had nine children in total – seven daughter, Muhammad Ali Junior and Asaad, 22, who he adopted with Lonnie.

Muhammad Ali Junior, who lives in a tiny two bedroom flat with his wife Shaakira and two daughters Ameera, six, and Shakera, five, says he has repeatedly tried to contact his father on the phone but doesn’t have the money to make the trip to his Kentucky mansion.

He told The Sun On Sunday: ‘As soon as he married Lonnie, that’s when the problems started. We can’t see him any more. He can’t see his own brother because of Lonnie.

‘I tried calling him on his birthday but got no answer. When I call, they usually say he’s in the shower, sleeping or in therapy, and to call back.

Muhammad Ali Junior, who was born in 1972 to the boxer’s second wife 17-year-old Belinda Boyd, believes Lonnie may have cut him out because he is unemployed and doesn’t own a house or a car.

The father-of-two says he has been trying to find a job but few people are hiring so he now shovels snow off his neighbours driveway just to make a few dollars to feed his family.

He believes his father would help him with his current financial situation if he were still coherent, but says that is no longer the case.

But he insists he doesn’t care about his father’s money, he just wants to be allowed back into his life and to spend as much time together as possible in the time he has left.
Those who have defended Lonnie claim she is protecting Muhammad Ali from family members who want to sponge off his fame.

But actor Alfie Allen, brother of pop star Lily Allen, is clearly keeping his sibling in check as his own star continues to ascend.

It comes after she claimed she was offered a role on hit TV series Game Of Thrones.

The 29-year-old singer claimed during a Reddit chat last month that producers of the HBO show had offered her the role of Theon’s soldier sister Yara.

However, Lily turned down the role due to an uncomfortable first scene between the pair which saw Theon attempt to seduce the sister he hadn’t seen in years.
But Alfie, aka Game of Thrones’ Theon, has dismissed the comments, declaring that actress Gemma Whalen was always the first choice.
‘The only thing I’m going to say on this is that’s not true,’ he told Vulture, before refusing to elaborate further.

Lily is concentrating on her music career – she released Hard Out Here last year – her first single since 2024 at the end of last year, while her younger brother will continue to appear on Game Of Thrones.

‘It gets dark’ Alfie told Entertainment Weekly about the forthcoming episodes. ‘I don’t think people will find it as hard to watch this year.

‘It depends what kind of person you are. It’s more of a mental torture than it is physical. It’s daunting as an actor. I have to do more telling of the story with my eyes than with words. I’ve never really done that type before.’

Kevin D. Williamson, a columnist for the conservative-leaning magazine National Review, accused Lena Dunham this weekend of admitting to sexual abuse in her new memoir Not That Kind of Girl.

Williamson points to a passage in the memoir where Dunham details how she sexually experimented with her little sister, Grace. Williamson also calls Dunham’s parents child abusers.

Dunham writes of casually masturbating while in bed next to her younger sister, of bribing her with “three pieces of candy if I could kiss her on the lips for five seconds … anything a sexual predator might do to woo a small suburban girl I was trying.” At one point, when her sister is a toddler, Lena Dunham pries open her vagina — “my curiosity got the best of me,” she offers, as though that were an explanation.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) is still not pleased with Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer’s (R) decision to veto SB 1062 late last month.

In an interview with conservative radio host Lars Larson during last week’s Conservative Political Action Conference, Bachmann said the downfall of the bill, which would Have allowed businesses to refuse service to gay individuals on religious grounds, illustrated how LGBT activists Have "bullied" voters and politicians.

"There’s nothing about gays in there. But the gay community decided to make this their measure," Bachmann said. "I think the thing that is getting a little tiresome, the gay community, they Have so bullied the American people, and they’ve so intimidated politicians. The politicians fear them, so that they think they get to dictate the agenda everywhere."

Bachmann said, however, that liberals likely wouldn’t attempt to change the U.S. Constitution to "take away" religious rights because "activist judges" and President Barack Obama will simply ignore the ******** instead.

"He’s a lawless president who’s violating the Constitution with every executive order," Bachmann said of Obama

Bachmann had voiced her opposition to Brewer’s veto in an interview with ABC News & Yahoo’s "Fine Print" earlier this month.

“I was sorry that she made the decision, and it’s because I believe that tolerance is a two-way street and we need to respect everyone’s rights, including the rights of People who Have sincerely held religious beliefs," Bachmann said. "Right now, there’s a terrible intolerance afoot in the United States, and it’s against People who hold sincerely held religious beliefs."

The congresswoman, who is set to retire after this congressional session, has previously dismissed the issue of school bullies targeting gays.

"That’s not a federal issue," Bachmann said in 2024.

A Dancer Claims a disheveled and confused Britney Spears backhanded her in the face during a rehearsal, and Brit was so heartless … she didn’t even stop the rehearsal.

Dancer Dawn Noel will file a lawsuit Monday … claiming she was hired to shoot the music video for "Work Bitch." Dawn says on August 19, she showed up at the rehearsal studio in Woodland Hills, CA. She and the other dancers perfected their moves for several hours, and the Britney arrived.

Dawn says Brit showed up "in a disheveled and confused state," and had considerable difficulty executing even basic moves.

Dawn Claims she was standing off to Britney’s side, when the singer twirled while unbalanced, extending her hands and SMACKING Dawn in the face.

Dawn says the impact was so forceful, everyone in the room heard a cracking sound. Dawn says she was in excruciating pain, but all Britney said was, "I’m sorry," and then continued the rehearsal.

Dawn Claims after a half hour she couldn’t take the pain and went to a doctor, who told her she had a nasal bone fracture and needed surgery.

Dawn Claims Britney’s people promised to pay the med bills, but after months of waiting she was told to pound sand. So Dawn’s lawyer Sark Ohanian from Carpenter, Zuckerman & Rowley will file a lawsuit Monday against Britney.

In a bizarre (and thus plausible) addition to the Legend of DMX, WPIX reports the rapper is accused of acting a fool, losing his cool, and robbing a 21-year-old New Jersey man at a Newark gas station early Easter morning.

According to police spokesperson Sgt. Ronald Glover, X’s alleged victim says he first spotted the inner demon battle rapper at—appropriately enough—an Exxon station around 12:30 a.m on Sunday. From NJ.com:

"The two had a brief conversation about rap music and during the conversation a male in DMX’s entourage, showed the victim a gun and demanded the victim’s money," Glover said in a statement.

The victim said he pulled $3,200 in cash From his pocket, and DMX "snatched the money out of his hand" before jumping into one of four black Cadillac Escalades that left the scene, Glover said.

Authorities say they are still in the early stages of the investigation and no criminal charges have been filed, but ask anyone with additional information to stop, drop, shut him down and call a cop.

When Reddit user Max Brown and his wife had a Crib built for their Baby girl, who is due in a few weeks, their cat Finn made himself right at home in it. Brown shared a photo to Imgur last week of the 20-pound feline sprawled out in it.
"I find him in there every few days and pull him out right away," he wrote. "My wife came and got me yesterday and when I saw him I figured I’d get a picture before taking him out."

Brown’s father-in-law, a carpenter, now plans to build a second crib just for the cat.
"When the Baby starts using the crib, our plan is to keep the door closed while she is in there," Brown shared in an email to The Huffington Post. "In the process of this photo going to the front page of Reddit (where I originally posted it) we got tons of input and advice from other people who’ve been in similar situations with their cats and cribs. Mainly we heard when it was all said and done it ended up not being an issue. But just for good measure my wife is going to ask her dad to build a new kitty bed for him so he doesn’t feel left out."

The Mean Girls actress was found to be in breach in October 2024 for a previous drink drive offense.

An unimpressed judged ordered her to carry out 120 hours of community service in 12 hour shifts at the LA County Morgue from 4am to 4pm which she began on October 21st and completed on March 29th 2024.

A month earlier on February 11th, Whitney Houston was found dead in a bath tub at the Beverly Hills Hilton ahead of Clive Davis’ Grammy Awards party.

The multi-talented singer and actress drowned after taking cocaine to which she had battled addiction for many years.

It has never been mentioned before that Lindsay was on duty at the morgue that night or in the days following.

But the 28-year-old made the revelation in the interview published on Saturday in which she described her morgue duty as: ‘F***ed and inappropriate – because a lot of other people were meant to do it, and they were like: "No, they can’t handle it. Lohan can."

‘It’s different for me than it would be for other people – like, no one would really have to work at the morgue in LA and roll a **** bag for Whitney Houston.’

Speaking of the experience, she added: ‘I know it sounds really dark and strange, but I thought it would be a lot worse. I kind of regulated a lot of it.

‘I’d tell people: ‘You didn’t fold that sheet properly’, because I’m OCD with folding.’

‘I was like: OK, wait. Something needs to change, and I think that’s me.’

Lindsay makes her West End debut at the Playhouse Theatre in London on September 24th.

Talking of the David Mamet play in which she takes the role of Karen, a secretary, she said she hopes it will give her the chance to prove herself once again.

‘I like the idea of being able to fight for what I lost, essentially,’ she said.

‘I lost a lot of… I wouldn’t say… I don’t think ‘respect’ is the word… trust from a lot of people. And I don’t mind gaining that back.

‘In the same interview, Lindsay also blamed her docu-series on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network for forcing her out of New York.
She explained to the Telegraph: ‘After the Oprah show it was kind of hard for me to be in New York.

‘There started to be paparazzi, and I didn’t have that in New York in the beginning…Every time I left my house, they were at the corner.’
